DIR Employer Required Postings

Some federal and state regulations and statutes require employers to notify their employees of certain rights and/or obligations. All employers in the State of California must comply with certain workplace posting requirements which include posting the information in areas easily accessible to employees.  In addition to postings regarding wages, hours, and working conditions the following are some safety and health required postings that are required.

 

Contains pertinent information regarding safety rules and regulations.

This posting is required for ALL employers

 

Provides information about rights of employees working with hazardous/toxic substances.

(Title 8, California Code of Regulations, General Industry Safety Order section 3204)

This posting is required for employers using hazardous or toxic substances

 

Employers using industrial trucks shall post and enforce a set of operating rules.

(Title 8, California Code of Regulations, General Industry Safety Order section 3664)

This posting is required for Employers operating forklifts and other types of industrial trucks or tow tractors

 

Advises employees of workers’ compensation benefits. Claims administrators and employers need to revise the notice they are currently using and send it to the DWC administrative director for review and approval.

This posting is required for ALL employers

 

Log and Summary of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses

is for logging recordable injuries, is for collecting details, and is the annual summary form.  All three forms are available in various downloadable formats with instructions on the .

This posting is required for Employers with 11 or more employees in the previous year
